In December 2019, Wuhan, a city in china firstly experienced the coronavirus. It is believed that “WET MARKET” in Wuhan is the source of this deadly disease as both dead and live animals, fish and birds are sold in this market. Although the animal source of this latest disease has not yet found, bats are thought to be the host. Bats are not sold in the Wuhan market but they may have infected the animals sold there.
These types of markets are always under a high risk of viruses because animals are kept, butchered and packed at the same place and due to this they often miss maintaining hygiene standards which cause jumping of viruses from animals to humans.
